Oracle and BizLibrary Integration Guide

What does this documentation cover? 

The Oracle–BizLibrary content integration connects BizLibrary’s learning content library with Oracle’s learning platform, enabling organizations to seamlessly discover, launch, and track BizLibrary courses directly within Oracle while maintaining a unified learner experience and centralized reporting.

Setting up Oracle Content Integration on BizLibrary’s Content Delivery System (CDS)

1. Administrators with the correct Oracle SKU will log into CDS.
   1. https://cds.bizlibrary.com 
2. From the CDS homepage, click on the settings cog in the top right and select Oracle Setup.

1. If there are no Oracle integrations currently set up, you will need to create one by selecting New Integration.
2. Fill out the required information in the modal shown below. This information is what you have received from Oracle.
   1. Select a product from the dropdown list – there will typically only be one option. 
   2. Input the Client ID you wish to use 
   3. Input the Client Secret Key 
   4. Input Auth URL 
   5. Input a Content URL
   6. Input a Tracking URL 
   7. Select whether you want Account or Mbox as your identifier type.

1. After you have populated these fields, please click on Validate.
2. Once the connection is successful, your BizLibrary content will be synced within your Oracle environment within 24 hours.

Setting up users within BizLibrary’s Platform 

The last step in the process is to access BizLibrary’s Platform for your learners to consume content. 

It is very important to note that Oracle usernames can be whatever, but their email address on file must match their BizLibrary username. We highly recommend using email address for Oracle ID, so they are unique to your employees. 

1. Start by visiting the BizLibrary platform. 
2. https://lms.bizlibrary.com 
3. Log in using the credentials that the BizLibrary Support Team will provide to you. 
4. Click on the dropdown at the top of the page and select People then Learners. (Depending on your set up, you may land on this page by default). 

1. Once you are within the BizLibrary platform, you will need to create users. This can be done a few separate ways, as listed below: 
2. Create one user 
3. To create one-off users, click on New Learner in the top right. 
4. Populate the required fields. Please note:
   • If actor identifier type is Account, BizLMS username needs to match the Oracle username.
   • If actor identifier type is Mbox, BizLMS username needs to match the Oracle User Email Address.
5. Import users 
6. To import users in bulk, click on Import Learners in the top right. 
7. Download a template spreadsheet and populate your learner information. Please note:
   • If actor identifier type is Account, BizLMS username needs to match the Oracle username.
   • If actor identifier type is Mbox, BizLMS username needs to match the Oracle User Email Address.
