While Workday allows users to launch and track BizLibrary courses, the rich catalog filtering experience is native to the BizLibrary platform. This guide explains how to direct learners to BizLibrary’s extended search and discovery tools directly from Workday.
Overview
When accessing BizLibrary content through Workday, basic course searches return standard catalog results. To take advantage of advanced content discovery—including filters for curated learning paths, specific topics, certifications, duration, and delivery formats—learners should use the Browse Library section within the BizLibrary LMS.
Best Practice: Adding a Direct Library Link in Workday
To make it easier to use our robust filters, we suggest adding a direct link to the Browse Library section directly within Workday. Workday administrators can create and configure custom links on the Workday home page or within relevant cards by following Workday’s official guide:
Direct Catalog URL Structure
When setting up your custom link in Workday, use the following URL format (replacing
{Branded Site Name} with your organization’s specific BizLibrary domain prefix):https://{Branded Site Name}.bizlibrary.com/Relay?relayState=https://lms.bizlibrary.com/learner/library/list
Note: This link utilizes single sign-on (SSO) via Relay. Learners will be seamlessly authenticated and dropped directly into the Browse Library page without needing to re-enter login credentials.
What Learners Can Filter in BizLibrary
Once on the BizLibrary Browse Library page, learners can narrow down content using the following criteria:
- Topics & Subtopics: Target specific skill areas or industry-specific subject matter.
- Curated Learning Paths: Access pre-built collections of courses organized for specific roles or competencies.
- Certifications: Filter for courses that grant professional continuing education units (CEUs) or certification credits.
- Content Type & Format: Sort by video lessons, interactive modules, downloadable resources, or short-form microlearning.
- Duration: Find content that fits specific time constraints.
