Please use this document to configure your Open Content Network (OCN) set up with SuccessFactors and BizLibrary. You will use the SuccessFactors links below while you are configuring your set up with BizLibrary. This document outlines how clients using the SuccessFactors LMS will use the Open Content Network integration to sync BizLibrary content so their learners can launch directly from SuccessFactors.
SuccessFactors/BizLibrary will start here:
1. Contact your BizLibrary Client Success Manager to contract the OCN Connector.
2. Adding Open Content Network Provider Names
Notes: On step one in the link above, Labels is not located according to documentation. The new location of labels is: References > Manage Labels > Labels

3. Enabling a OCN third-party provider
For launch to BizLibrary Content (SVL):

4. Generating an Admin Level System Client Secret for the SAP SuccessFactors Learning System

The name of the admin must be: BizLibrary
5. Share information between SuccessFactors and BizLibrary
Information needed for OCN setup:
Client must retrieve a Base URL from SuccessFactors.
- Base URL
Client must request from SuccessFactors or visit Admin Center > Learner Administration. The base URL in the browser is the base URL for the Administration. The base URL in the browser is the base URL for the API
- Client Secret that is generated in Step 3
- Success Factors Client Id (They get this from Success Factors)
- Once Base URL, Client Secret and Client Id are retrieved, use these steps:
- Visit cds.bizlibrary.com.
- In the top right, click on the setting (gear) icon, and select OCN Setup.
- Click on New Integration.
- Input your SuccessFactors Client ID, Base URL, and Credentials into your BizLibrary CDS set up page.
- Note: You may only have one option on your Product dropdown depending on the content SKU that was purchased.
6. Synchronize and Import Open Content Network items
BizLibrary will create a weekly trigger to send all content to SuccessFactors. Client will then import those waiting courses into their SuccessFactors instance.
There is an automatic process (System Administration > Automatic Processes > Open Content Network Content Synchronization) in SuccessFactors that can be configured to update the OCN content. This will sync course metadata and clean up inactive courses. Inactive courses can still receive completion records if they remain in the OCN with the Import Status: “Imported” You'll need to schedule this synchronization with the directions at https://help.sap.com/docs/successfactors-learning/learning-management-settings-configuration-guide-a95c79970d9545b2a8d483f6f27965fa/synchronize-open-content-network-content
Once content is sent to SuccessFactors, the client must import the courses into their SuccessFactors instance. You can do this manually, which requires manual updates/ intervention to add new titles from time to time, or automatically so that all new content is published without manual intervention.

Learner Experience
1. Once you have imported content into a library and completed the assignment profile, Learner’s will be able to browse BizLibrary content within SuccessFactors LMS.
Please note: Only content titles and descriptions are indexed for discoverability. BizLibrary does not have control over how metadata is presented within SuccessFactors LMS. 2. When they launch BizLibrary content from SuccessFactors LMS, a separate window will appear displaying the content.
