After completing a course, there are several factors that could prevent the course or module within a learning initiative from marking complete.
- Did you leave all pop-up windows open while taking the course?
- All pop-up windows must be left open when completing the course as that is what tracks the progression throughout the course.
- Typically eLearning type content.
- Did you let the video play all of the way to the end?
- With some content, the video must be played all the way through the credits until the end of the video for the content to mark complete.
- Typically this is for content that does not require a quiz in order to complete.
- Is there a "mark complete" button that populates after the video is completed?
- Typically, if there is a mark complete button it will populate below the video after the video credits have ended.
- Is there a quiz associated? If so, have you completed and passed the quiz?
- Helpful Tip: If you failed the quiz too many times and it will not allow you to retake, you will need to reach out to your system administrator to reset the quiz attempts.
- Did you click save & exit for each course or module that you completed if there is a save & exit button?
- Does the course have several courses within it?
- If so, try clicking into the first module and save and exit and then do the same for the last module within the lesson and it should then mark complete.
- This is typically related to eLearning and Video Course types.
