If a Learner has already self-registered for the course, you will not be able to assign it to the Learner as mandatory training. If you would like to assign this course as required training, you will need to reset the course back to available for the Learner. You can reset the assignment status within the Learner's profile under the Status tab.

To reset a Learner's assignment status:

1. Select Administration from the main menu dropdown
2. Select People from the sidebar menu, then select Learners
3. Click on the username of the desired Learner
4. Click on the Status tab
5. Select the arrow next to the title of the course (use the filter options to search for the desired course if needed)
6. Change the status of the course back to available
7. Click Save
