Good News: Your Access Stays the Same!

You will continue to access your platform using the same URL and login credentials as before. The overall user interface for your learners and the familiar way you navigate the platform have been preserved to ensure a minimal learning curve and an uninterrupted experience.

What's New? Powerful Admin Features!

The primary benefit of this upgrade is access to a suite of advanced administrative tools designed to help you manage, track, and measure your organization's learning and development goals more effectively. These new features are designed to help you evolve your training programs into strategic, measurable initiatives.

As part of the BizLMS upgrade, you now have access to the following powerful tools:

• Learning Initiatives: Design and launch structured, multi-step learning bundles to drive specific organizational goals (e.g., leadership development, new hire onboarding, compliance training).
• Custom Library: Gain greater control and organization over your content by leveraging customized content libraries, making it easier for administrators and learners to find specific, curated internal resources.
• Classrooms: Manage and track in-person, blended, or virtual instructor-led training (ILT) sessions, allowing you to centralize all learning formats within one platform.
• Qualifications: Define, track, and manage specific skill sets or compliance requirements necessary for different roles or groups within your organization, ensuring everyone meets necessary standards.
• Additional Reporting Capabilities: Gain clear visibility into the adoption and usage of new features, modules, or upgraded content post-migration between BizLXP and BizLMS, allowing administrators to measure the success of the upgrade.

Training Resources:

Learning Initiatives 

Learning Initiatives are a broader tool that help you plan, organize, and deliver larger training programs. A Learning Initiative can include multiple courses, assignments, and completion requirements, all grouped under a single goal, like a leadership development program or annual compliance rollout. Learning Initiatives help you track progress at a program level and provide clear visibility into who has completed each piece of training and when. Learning Initiatives can also be leveraged for annual recurring training, stacked or progressive learning programs, and learning programs that result in qualifications. Custom Libraries

Custom Libraries allow you to add your own custom content to the system. You are able to upload multiple types of content via your own custom content library! You can upload documents (Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), videos (typically in .MP4 format), links (if the information is located outside of the system, a link can take learners directly to the content), SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, and AICC courses. Review this video on leveraging your Custom Library for more information. 

Administrators can grant their learners access to content by providing them with access to the library. This enables learners to browse and choose content they would like to see outside of their required training. Review this video on Library Access for more information. 

Classrooms

Classrooms are the dedicated feature for managing and tracking all of your instructor-led training (ILT) sessions, whether they are in-person, blended, or completely virtual. The Classroom tool allows you to schedule sessions, manage attendance, assign required prerequisites, and host sign-up rosters, centralizing all administrative tasks for your live training events.

Classrooms ensure that your ILT data—like attendance, completion, and sign-ups—is fully integrated with the rest of your learning records within BizLMS. This makes it easier to track a learner's full journey, including both self-paced and instructor-led components. To get started with Classrooms, begin in Classroom Setup (Part 1).

Qualifications  

Qualifications add more flexibility for administrators needing to track specific qualifications a learner has achieved for their job role or position. A lot of organizations require their learners within a certain job role to acquire professional certifications or credentials to supply qualifications to a job. Review Managing Qualifications for more information. 

Central Reporting

Central Reporting in the BizLMS gives you a single, easy-to-use location to track and measure all of your training activity. With Central Reporting, you can monitor learner progress, completion rates, scores, overdue assignments, and more across all your content libraries, custom training, and learning initiatives.

Powerful filters and export options make it simple to pull detailed reports for managers, compliance audits, or leadership updates, helping you demonstrate the impact of your training programs and stay on top of organizational goals. Saved and Scheduled Reports

Saved and Scheduled Reports in the BizLMS make it easy to stay on top of your training data without starting from scratch each time. You can save your favorite report configurations including filters, date ranges, and columns so you can quickly run them again whenever you need updated results.

With scheduling, you can automatically email reports to yourself or other stakeholders on a recurring basis (daily, weekly, monthly). This helps managers and admins keep an eye on completions, overdue training, and key metrics without extra manual effort. Review this video on Saved & Scheduled Reports for more information.
