In order to delete a topic, you must first remove all associated content from the topic. Once the topic is removed from all content pieces, a button will appear on the right-hand side, allowing you to delete the topic from the list.

Please follow these steps to remove the topic from the content:

1. Go to Administration from the main menu
2. Go to Learning and then Libraries from the sidebar menu
3. Open the library in which the content is in
4. Once inside the library, filter to change the view from content to topic
5. Scroll to the topic you wish to delete
6. Select the down arrow to the left-hand side of the topic to show the associated content
7. Click on the content title to bring you to the content profile
8. On the Details tab of the content profile, scroll to libraries & topics
9. Delete the topic from the content piece

10. Once the topic is removed from all content pieces that were listed under the topic, the delete icon (trashcan) will appear to delete the topic
