This article includes general information & a walkthrough of the Admin Preference Report, a subsidiary report for LMS administrators that captures Learner Onboarding preferences for a team.
The Admin Preference Report provides administrators with insights into learner interests regarding the LMS, enabling them to export, review, and sort results for improved training decisions. It offers valuable information on learners' career interests and aids in tracking progress and personalizing learning experiences. By understanding content preferences, administrators can create targeted assignments, playlists, and initiatives to support learner development.
Admin Preference Report Overview
The Admin Preference Report consists of 7 columns that match information gathered during the Learner Onboarding modal. First, we capture the Username, First Name, and Last Name of the learner. Then, we track their responses on the two key questions asked during the onboarding process:
- What is your Learning Style? (either In-Depth or Fast, or both)
- What brings you in today? (either Exploration, Mandatory Training, or both)
Finally, we capture any topics and/or subtopics selected by the Learner. This provides insight into Learner interests and what topics they may be interested in learning about which administrators can use to make more accurate assignments. Note: Direct Team Learners who have not filled out Learner Onboarding information will still be populated in the spreadsheet as blank. This allows admin to see which learners have yet to login and add their preferences.
How to Generate the Admin Preference Report
To generate the Admin Preference Report for a team, first navigate to an Admin Teams Profile (Administrator > People > Teams).
Then, select a team that you want to export learner preferences for. Once on that team’s profile, click the ‘actions’ dropdown button and choose “Export Learner Preferences.”
Clicking this button will display the Export Preferences modal. Once confirmed, the Admin Preference report will arrive at the email address associated with the LMS admin who initiated the export.
Important Note: Only DIRECT team members will be included in the Admin Preference Report. Members who were added to teams indirectly will not be included in the report.
