Customizing BizLibrary Productions Content within CDS


Customize BizLibray Productions video lessons with branding, company specific information, interactions, quizzes as well as Creating a new video lesson by uploading their own video.

  • Customizing BLP content
    • From the Browse Content page, add the Features column and filter for Customizable. Or select the Create New Content button from the CDS header and select the BizLibrary Content option. Both of these methods will end in the same result, a list of fully customizable BLP content.

    • Open the desired Content Preview by clicking a content title and then click the Customize button. A new modal will open allowing the client to change or update the Title and Description. Click the green Customize button.

       

    • The client will be taken to a newly created Content Profile while the content profile is simultaneously saved to the My Custom Content page. On the Content Profile each tab, Details, Support Materials, Interactions, Quiz and Captions are editable independently. On the left navigation panel the Content Editor will glow red anytime an editable content profile is open.

  • Details tab: Select the Edit button to open the editable fields which include Title, Description, Production Date and more. Once a change has been made the Save button becomes available.
  • Support Materials tab: Add or remove Support Materials or to change the current thumbnail. Once a change has been made the Save button becomes available.
  • Interactions tab: Edit, create or delete any of nine types of interactions that will appear during content playback.
    • Web Links Share a link to an external resource (like another video or article)
    • Tips Share a brief note with your Learners
    • Poll questions Prompt Learners to rate their experience with the course topic and/or the course
    • Fill in the blank questions Prompt your Learners to manually enter the correct word or phrase as a response
    • YouTube Share a link to a YouTube video with your Learners (Must use the Video Code available by selecting the ‘Share’ option on the video page in YouTube)
    • Thought questions Pose a question that asks for a lengthier Learner response
    • Select all that apply questions Prompt your Learners to answer a question by choosing all applicable answers
    • Multiple choice questions Prompt your Learners to answer a question by choosing from a list of options
    • Section titles Used to display a text header showing the current segment of the course
  • Quiz tab: Edit, create or delete Quiz questions and controls.
    • Details tab Ability to enter learner instructions, pass percentage, attempt limits and more.
    • Questions tab
      • Single Choice Learner can select only one answer
      • Multiple Choice Learner can select any number of correct answers
    • Captions tab: Edit, create or delete captions manually or by uploading a .vtt file.
