What is a Featured Playlist?

Featured playlists are a great way to provide your teams and learners with recommended content, without making it a required assignment. Multiple playlists may be created for each team, and up to 60 courses can be added to each. Many clients utilize featured playlists to highlight content for monthly topics, ongoing reminders, or content that will need to be accessed frequently by teams.

There is no limit for the number of featured playlists for a team.

To create a featured playlist:

1. Select Administration from the main menu
2. Select People and then Teams from the sidebar menu
3. Choose the team's profile and navigate to the Featured Playlists tab to access the creation and management of a featured playlist
4. Fill out the creation form to get started
   1. Note, a title, content, start date, and end date are all required fields
5. Click Save
6. Note, once you have created the first playlist, you can click Create New Playlist to add additional playlists

Helpful tip: Once created, featured playlists may be managed, modified, copied or removed within the team they were created for. You can also use Curriculum Builder to create featured playlists - this would allow you to preview content prior to creating the playlist.

Helpful tip: In order to add content to a featured playlist, the selected team requires browsing access to a the library the content is featured within. If you find content missing within your featured playlist content selections, review the selected team's library access to ensure learners can browse the library.
