Games employ many principles that drive learner utilization, including badges that can be earned as learners earn points and a leaderboard that encourages friendly competition.

Within the game's profile page, administrators can promote or remind learners of the game through a messaging area built within the page. This message targets all learners participating in the game. 

To send a game message:

1. Go to Administration from the main menu
2. Select Learning followed by Games on the sidebar menu
3. Search for and select the game you would like to send a message for
4. Within the game profile, click the Messages tab and select New Message
5. Enter your Subject and Message Body
6. By default, game messages go out shortly after being sent. If you prefer to send your message out at a later date, select the Send on option and enter the preferred date. 

Helpful tip: When creating a message you can copy the game link provided and paste it within your message. This will direct learners to your game's page where they can see current standings and review how they have performed to-date.
