Setting up CDS Authentication

So that BizLibrary can protect a client’s proprietary information, SAML authentication is required before Custom or Customized content can be downloaded or launched.

  • To set up an authentication method, click the gear icon located at the right of the page header, then select New Authentication Method.

  • BizLibrary recommends using the name of the Identity Provider to distinguish between multiple authentications but any naming convention is allowed.
  • Clients have the choice to paste a metadata string or upload a .xml file, both of which should be provided by the Identity Provider. The same steps should be taken to edit an existing Authentication, paste the entire metadata string or upload a new .xml file.

  • To finalize setup, choose the download icon from the Metadata URL column of the newly created Authentication Method. A new browser window will open with metadata needed to finish setting up with the Identity Provider. Copy the URL or the entire metadata string to be used to finish setup with the IDP.
