Administrators can use Learner Drafts to quickly and easily create teams, assign content, message groups of learners outside of structured teams and manage their learners' status. With the help of dynamic filtering options that allow the administrator to filter for hire date, supervisor, and more, administrators can target a particular segment of their user base and perform numerous actions as a follow-up.
To create a Learner Draft:
- From your Homepage, select Administration from the main menu
- Select People from the sidebar menu and then select Learners
- (Optional) Select Filter and apply any needed filtering options
- Check the box(es) next to the learner(s) you wish to add to your Learner Draft
- Note, when selecting learners, you can select all learners to add to the Learner Draft. To do this, choose the select all option to highlight the first 50 learners. After the first 50 are selected, an option will appear to select all learners within the list.
Once your Learner Draft has been created, you may select Learner Draft tab to apply varying Actions options to the group of Learners:
- You can update the learners' status (whether they are able to access the site or not) in your Learner Draft by selecting the Actions dropdown, then Activate or Deactivate Learners.
- You can send a one-time message to the learners in your Learner Draft by selecting the Actions dropdown, then Send Message.
- If you would like to add the learners in your Learner Draft to an existing Team, click the Actions dropdown, then Move.
- To create a brand new team and add the learners in your Learner Draft to it, select the Actions dropdown, then select Create Team.
- To make an assignment to the learners in your Learner Draft select the Actions dropdown, followed by Assign Content. You can also unassign content by choosing Unassign Content from the Actions dropdown.
- To run a report over the learners in your Learner Draft select the Actions dropdown, followed by View Status. You can then select the desired content.
- To assign a Learning Initiative to the learners in your Learner Draft, select the Actions dropdown, then Assign Learning Initiative.
Once you have selected the desired option, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the assignment, create the team, or modify your learners' status.
