BizLibrary’s BambooHR integration allows organizations to sync employee information from BambooHR into the BizLibrary LMS. This integration allows your organization to import employee information from BambooHR in bulk. A custom sync trigger and frequency can be set by your organization to input your desired fields.
To enable the BizLibrary integration, you must first submit a ticket to the BizLibrary Client Support Team and request access to the integration. Once you have access to the BambooHR integration in your BizLibrary account, follow the steps below to enable the integration.
1. Log in to BizLibrary using your active Branded Site
2. Navigate to Administration > System
3. Select BambooHR.
Note: To set up this integration, you must be an Organizational Administrator in BizLibrary and a Full Administrator of BambooHR. If you do not see your Administration Page in from the main menu dropdown, navigate to https://YOURBRANDEDSITE.bizlibrary.com/admin/. Be sure to replace "YOURBRANDEDSITE" with your BizLibrary account branded site subdomain.
4. Select "Manage BambooHR Integration."
5. Enter your BambooHR Subdomain and Bamboo API Key.
To get the BambooHR API Key, log in to BambooHR, click on your username in the top right corner and select API Keys.
6. Select Add New Key
7. Give your API Key a name
8. Click Copy Key, then done.
9. Enter your BambooHR Sub Domain, then paste API Key into the BizLibrary BambooHR set up, and click save.
10. To set up the webhook, copy the URL provided by BizLibrary.
11. Go to your BambooHR browser, click settings, then Webhooks.
12. Click Add New Webhook
13. Give your BambooHR Webhook a name and add the fields you want to monitor.
14. Choose JSON, then paste the URL you copied from the BizLibrary BambooHR page. Choose the syncing cadence and click save.
15. To successfully, update a Learner’s name and click save. Navigate to the BizLibrary Learners page to see if that Learner has been created or updated. Note: Remember to wait for the sync to run based on what interval was selected.
