Administrators have the flexibility to tailor learners' access to BizLibrary's content library. Whether you want learners to browse the library freely or restrict their access to assigned content or specific topics, follow the steps below to configure these settings:
To grant restricted access to a Library:
- Select Administration from the main menu drop-down.
- Select Learning and then Libraries from the sidebar menu.
- Click on the title of the desired custom Library.
- Select the Access tab.
- Click New Access on the right.
- Check the boxes for the Learners or Teams that should have access.
- Check the "Browsing Allowed" checkbox and choose the topics that they should have access to (leave blank if you are giving access to all topics)
- Select Grant Access on the bottom right.
To grant non-browsable access to a Library:
- Select Administration from the main menu drop-down.
- Select Learning and then Libraries from the sidebar menu.
- Click on the title of the desired custom Library.
- Select the Access tab.
- Click New Access on the right.
- Check the boxes for the Learners or Teams that should have access.
- Uncheck the "Browsing Allowed" checkbox if you do not want your learners or teams to browse the library via the Browse Library page.
- Leave the topics field blank so that all topics are included in the non-browsable category.
- Select Grant Access on the bottom right.
Note: If non-browsable access is selected, learners will only see content in that library or topic that has been assigned to them or included in a team playlist.
